Manningham Uniting Church has formed an Interim Church Council

Our Interim Church Council is currently meeting fortnightly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 152 Andersons Creek Road and have planned full day retreat on Saturday 30th July.



These meetings and the retreat day will enable the council to formulate the processes of Stage 3 and to continue to overseer the working teams as they are formed, to work through the issues of our stage 3 merger.


The past Church Councils will continue to meet when appropriate to maintain operational matters, in this transitional period, with reference back to the Interim Council.


The Communications Working Team has commenced working on such things but not limited to: combining notices, newsletters and communications, the setting up of a new and improved website and improved communications within our groups. These changes will not take place immediately but it is hoped will be progressively undertaken and commenced over the coming later half of the year.


Members of the Interim Church Council  are representatives of the three former congregations and comprise.Rev Andrew Boyle, Rev Jason Kioa, Rev Lucas Taylor, Bill Harrison, Cath Barnard, Chris McRae (Chairperson), Daryl Hume-Cook, Dimity Paul, Don Bartlett, Essie Tremewan, Ian Bennett, Jan Serpell, Jenny Ellis, Jill Parkinson, John Hyne, Ken Manson, Matthew Hughes, Merryn Bairstow, Peter Hanna (Secretary), Rob Serpell, Sharon Hyne (Minute Secretary), Tanya Puglia, Zoe McLachlan.
